Mark Whybro joined the NSW Fire Brigades in 1981 and retired after 40 years’ service in mid-2021. His last role was Assistant Commissioner Community Safety, with state-wide responsibility for Fire and Rescue NSW’s Prevention and Education function. Mark’s work continues in public safety as the Chair of the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Australia.
