Pacific Helmets NZ Ltd is a world leader in the design and manufacture of structural firefighting, wildland firefighting, and technical rescue helmets. We have a long and proud tradition of meeting the specific needs of emergency services worldwide. Our mission is to provide the world’s best safety gear, without compromise.
The Pacific range of helmets have long been recognised for their safety, durability, comfort, and quality. Pacific Helmets Research and Development focuses on continuously improving our products and developing new solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We pride ourselves on being a leader in helmet technology and continuously striving to improve by making our products safer, more comfortable, and better suited to the changing needs of emergency services the world over.

The Pacific F11 Structural Firefighting Helmet is Pacific’s latest ¾ shell model. The shell of the F11 is made from composite materials reinforced with Dupont™ Kevlar® and fibreglass, providing excellent impact and penetration protection while being chemical, UV, heat, and flame resistant. The F11 comes with the option of a torch base and ear protection brackets that make the F11 the perfect helmet for applications like Pump operations. The F11 can also be customised with reflectors or branding.
The F11 has a permanently fixed Faceshield or a clip-on option that allows the helmet to become more compact, for instance, where tight confinement such as vehicle extrication is an issue. Both fixed and removable Face Shields are available in 110mm and 160mm lengths and are anti-scratch and anti-fog coated. The face shields provide full face coverage with plenty of internal space for comfortable use of a large range of BA masks.
The F11 features Pacific’s latest Ratchet Adjustable Headband which can be operated with a single gloved hand to fit head sizes from 52-65cm. The pivoting nape of the headband means it can be adjusted to provide an improved comfortable and secure fit for all head sizes and shapes. The F11 includes a 6-Point Ribbon Suspension System with Padded Air Mesh which provides even weight distribution, improved impact resistance and optimal airflow, making the F11 comfortable to wear in all conditions.
Staying connected to the rest of the team is critical in high-intensity situations. The F11 can be fitted with Titan Firecomms – a helmet mounted, hands-free, boom microphone and speaker system. This allows wearers to retain full situational awareness, even in the harshest and noisiest environments. Titan Firecomms are easily installed inside your helmet without compromising fit or comfort and are compatible with a wide range of Push-to-Talk options.
Pacific’s One Touch Eye Protector™, for easy push-activated eye protection at times when full face coverage is not required, is available with the F11. There is also a wide range of neck protector designs to choose from. The Pacific F11 is available in an extensive range of colours. Rank markings, wording, and customised decals are available and can be tailored to individual brigade requirements. The F11 will be available certified to the Structural Firefighting standards: AS/NZS 4067:2012, NFPA 1971:2018, NFPA 1951:2013 for technical rescue and EN443:2008 for Structural Firefighting.
