Fuso Truck and Bus will display a fire-ready 4×4 FG Canter truck at this year’s AFAC event. The Japanese brand has a strong track record of providing cab-chassis models that are perfect for firefighting duties and have proven themselves time and time again in the most challenging conditions.
The Canter 4×4 has a low rear frame height for optimum body mounting, a high and low transfer case, class leading tare weight and a tight turning circle. It is available with a regular cab or crew cab and can be ordered with a specification that allows for it to be driven on a car licence. The regular cab can be selected in two different wheelbases.
Fuso also has a full range of trucks that can be of use in other ways, with narrow crew cab models that are able to fit into very tight spaces and also benefit from excellent tare weights and a low rear frame height. The narrow crew cab has the lowest height in its class and can fit into car parks with just 2 metres of clearance.
Fuso crew cabs provide a high level of comfort thanks to a spacious interior and feature a lockable under-seat compartment for storage. Select models also have separate air conditioning controls and ducting for the rear passengers.
Fuso is also well positioned to help with rapid resource movement thanks to its proven Rosa bus, which is available in 22 and 25 seat specification.
